Standard Freight

LTL freight shipping.

When you have more than a parcel but less than a full trailer, less-than-truckload (LTL) is the efficient way to move it. RS Group matches your pallets to the right LTL carrier and tracks the shipment door to door.

What is LTL freight?

Less-than-truckload shipping consolidates freight from multiple shippers onto one trailer, so you only pay for the space your pallets occupy instead of an entire truck. It is the standard choice for shipments roughly between 150 and 15,000 pounds, or about one to six pallets.

Because LTL freight shares a trailer and moves through carrier terminals, pricing is driven by freight class, weight, density, distance, and any accessorials (liftgate, residential, inside delivery). RS Group handles that classification for you and shops your lane across our carrier network so you get the right service at the right rate.
